Dr. Arndorfer is skilled at providing care for most psychiatric conditions in women ages 18-45. She requires that patients also work with a primary care or obstetric provider while they are in psychiatric treatment. She is particularly skilled at treating mental health issues that arise during high risk phases of a woman’s life, including premenstrual, pregnancy, postpartum and peri-menopausal phases. Patients with reproductive mental health issues are always prioritized in considering and scheduling new patient evaluations
- Depressive disorders
- Anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety, social anxiety and panic
- Obsessive-compulsive disorders
- Trauma-related disorders
- Eating disorders which can be managed on an outpatient basis (BMI >17) and on referral from a therapist and dietitian only
- Bipolar disorder
- Life transitions/adjustment issues
